In today’s world, there are many conflicting voices vying for our attention when it comes to the subject of marriage.
In marriage, there will be lots of choices to be made and many decisions to make. If there is no alignment in your values, you might end up desiring different things.
People go into marriage with high hopes but with no vision or plan. Then marriage begins to happen to them and they become disillusioned. They never really took charge of their lives or marriage because they had no marriage vision. That is where visioning comes into play. Nothing happens except you make it happen and I often say to couples that you have the power to create the type of marriage you want but you must know where to start.
If you don’t know where you are going, all roads will look good. On the other hand, when you are clear about where you want to get to and have created a road map to get you there, you will also know clearly the routes that cannot take you to your desired destination.
